Course content

The module titles and content covered are:

  1. Tensile Testing. How tensile testing is performed, how test samples are prepared, and how stress and strain are calculated. Determining yield strength, tensile strength, elongation, and elastic modulus from a stress-strain curve.
  2. Final exam. 70% required to pass the course and receive a certificate of completion.

Quizzes and problems give opportunities to apply the tensile testing concepts taught. The course takes about one hour to complete.

You will have 4 months access to this course.

Course certificate

A certificate for 1 training hour (0.1 CEUs) will be awarded after completing all course modules and successfully completing a final exam.
